What is the best techniques for self-defense
What is the best techniques for self-defense Whether or not you are a martial artist as a self-sufficient and functional being, you are of three parts to make you a whole; your mind, body, and spirit. For more information click here: https://ift.tt/3cpQXof In this training, we will focus on the body and mind with a particular interest in the mind. Like Master Wong tells us, all the philosophy behind our instruction starts with our four fundamental Pillars. Pillar 1 The purity of your intent Pillar 2 The focus of your will Pillar 3 The level of your awareness Pillar 4 The quality of your character Use these pillars as a guide to support your attitude and judgment, and enable yourself to effectively use this system to enhance your life for the better and to do good which is what a martial artist should always strive for. When you use your skill to do good this shows the purity of your intent. In the challenge to follow, we want to give you the tools to build the skills to be ready for the bad things in life. Danger often strikes at a time, not of our choosing, and we must be as prepared as we can in the shortest period of time possible. Self-directed challenges like this require you to be honest and realistic. The challenge is a prerequisite to the workshops we will be hosting as we will build upon these real-life scenarios with strategies on how to deal with different situations. Out of the Four Pillars, we will be focused on Pillar Three, The Level Of Your Awareness. Before we get into awareness, we have to understand how thoughts work. We have two types of thoughts we use at any given time as we run through our lives, and it truly takes both to navigate them. Like the Tao, there is a duality to everything, and thoughts are no different. One is precise, and the other very broad. For more information click here: https://ift.tt/3cpQXof Master Wong Out!! This is one of the more comfortable ways to begin conditioning. ✅ Otherwise, striking the wooden dummy without padding is one of the most common ways to harden the body parts used to block and strike. This is accomplished by practicing the techniques on the wooden dummy repeatedly. ✅ Repetitively impact damaging these nerve endings eventually numbs them to the point that over time pain is no longer felt. How to Broil a steak #shorts
Watch more Beef Recipes videos: https://ift.tt/3gXQN98 If you love a good steak, this is a simple way to cook one that maximizes the flavor. Step 1: Heat broiler Heat the broiler to its hottest temperature setting, and brush oil on the broiling pan. Step 2: Prepare the steak Add salt and pepper to the steak. Tip Broiling brings out the natural flavor of a steak, so salt and pepper are all you need to season it. Step 3: Place the steak in the broiler Place the steak on the pan and put the pan about 6 inches from the heat source. Step 4: Broil on each side Broil the steak for four to six minutes on each side, depending on how well-done you like it. Tip Do not open the door to peek at the steak. You want the steak to be cooking at a high and consistent temperature. Step 5: Let steak rest before serving Take the steak out and turn off the broiler. Let it rest in the pan so the juices can settle and the meat can cool. After five minutes, serve and enjoy. Did You Know? Did you know? London Broil refers to any of four beefsteaks that are often on the tough side: flank steak, sirloin, top round, and bottom round.

How to make dumpling dipping sauce #shorts
Watch more Asian Cooking videos: https://ift.tt/3gMcKaL... INGREDIENTS:1/2 cup Chinkiang black vinegar; 1 T sesame oil; 1 tsp. Lao Gan Ma chili oil. RECIPE: Add all ingredients together and whisk until well incorporated. I want to show you how to make Dumpling Dipping Sauce. It's super easy but you really have to have the right ingredients. So first you're going to start with some Sinjong Black Vinegar. It's this black vinegar. It's very tart. It's a little almost smoky. It's very, very strong and I love it. It's just like got this very interesting taste, very different from, for instance, soy sauce which a lot of people use for dumplings. So you're going to pour that in here. Next, this little bit of sesame oil. This adds like this nice nuttiness. It's a little oily so it's got that nice mouth feel. And then Locama Chili Oils. So it's also known as Old Grandma Sauce on the street. They have a lot of different varieties but this one has chili flakes and peanuts in it. They also have a very popular black bean version. So I'm just going to pour that in here. So it's pretty spicy so if you really don't like spicy food, perhaps adjust out a little bit. And I'm just going to mix that all together and you're ready to eat some dumplings. And that is how you make Dumpling Dipping Sauce.

How to combine custom cake and cupcakes #shorts
Watch more How to Make Cupcakes videos: https://ift.tt/35zZHE9... Can't decide between serving one big custom cake or cupcakes at an event? Why not serve both? In this video, a professional pastry chefs offers advice on combining the two. Hi, my name is Amanda Oakleaf. I am owner, head baker, decorator of Amanda Oakleaf Cakes in Winthrop, Massachusetts where we cupcakes, custom cakes, wedding cakes, birthday cakes. Anything you can think of we can make it into a cake. And today I will be talking to you about baking cupcakes. There's a couple ways that you can combine custom cakes and cupcakes. The first would be to order the custom cake to match the event. Colors and design and everything, to feed the majority of your people. And then the remaining amount of servings, we can do as cupcakes. And the design of the cupcakes and flavor can match the design and flavor of the custom cake. And display them around the perimeter of the custom cake. The other reason to separate cakes from cupcakes in the same event would be if there's an allergy. If we have somebody with a nut allergy for example, you can have a cake that serves everybody and has peanut butter in it, but maybe order some cupcakes on the side so that way people with the nut allergies don't feel left out. And those are two ways you can combine both custom cakes and cupcakes.

Do Boys Take Longer to Toilet Train?
Watch more How to Potty Train Your Child videos: https://ift.tt/2WMPIoT I'm often asked the question if boys take longer than girls to potty train and I say no. Girls and boys take different amounts of time to potty train depending on their personality, depending on their motivation, depending on their ability to learn, and the consistency of the parent. For example, two boys of very different personalities can take different amounts of time to train. If one boy is really excited to get a truck, every time he goes pee in the potty, then he's going to train more quickly than a little boy who isn't so interested in getting that truck, when he goes pee in the potty. On the other hand, if the girl really wants to be like mamma and use the potty, then she's going to be more motivated to use it, whereas her sister may not be so interested in using the potty because she wants to remain a baby, she wants to remain the younger sister, so she may not be motivated by potty training. So, it really doesn't depend upon the gender, it's more about the personality and the willingness to get potty trained.

The story about my life Master Wong Little Dragon
The story about my life Master Wong Little Dragon For more info:👉 https://ift.tt/3cpQXof His is the first book in a series, a series in which Master Wong builds a story based upon his life. Born in northern Vietnam when the Vietnam War was still raging, Master Wong had a tough and violent upbringing and early years: known by his birth name of Hung. He had to become street smart and quick - both with his wits and with his fists - at a time in his life when most children are safe and secure within their families. Having both Vietnamese and Chinese parents meant that he couldn’t, and didn’t, fit in within any of the conflicting cultures. Regular beatings and unprovoked attacks were part of his daily life. Violence within Vietnam against Chinese origin, particularly those of mixed race, meant that the young Hung was always in danger as he was growing up. Learning how to survive was essential - and urgent. Whilst this book is a work of fiction, large parts are based upon facts - upon what actually happened to the young Master Wong. You will be told how his family has split apart: his father and older brother having to escape Vietnam as refugees and leaving Hung, his mother, and his younger brother fighting to survive day-to-day in a hostile environment. For years, those left behind did not know whether his father and brother were still alive and, if so, where they were. As a half-breed, Hung has no close friends. With no adult guidance and no boundaries being set for him, he starts to slide into a life of violence and crime. He has to wise up - and fast - but not before the perils of the life he has adopted and a cruel twist of fate combine to cause his involvement in the death of a young boy. Fearing retribution, Hung runs away to escape the severe punishment that he knows will befall him if he stays and, by chance, finds a home with a different kind of family. A home with a degree of stability and, most importantly, a mentor - the first proper one in Hung’s life. He is taught invaluable skills and how to accept responsibility. He matures as a person rapidly. How does one find, define or identify one’s destiny? Is there truly a difference between walking the path and knowing the path? Do we see our destiny clearly, or does it come to us gradually, as if out of a mist, while we ponder upon what it might look like? Are the paths of our lives always illuminated with love and understanding, guiding us effortlessly to a wondrous life? Master Wong - and the young Hung - disagree. From the vagaries of Mother Nature, the mercilessness of the sea, numerous terrors in the towns and villages, and the jungle, you will learn how hurt and harm - and even death - can be waiting to pounce at any time. These are the influences upon the young Master Wong and the environment in which he started his training in the various survival skills and battle-tested arts in which he is now an international expert.

For a FREE Programme, Click Here: https://store.masterwong.tv/ We use the “wooden dummy” a thick wooden post representing a stationary human opponent with three arms and a leg to perform the Mook Yan Jong. ✅ Making use of the wooden dummy is utilized for times when a physical training partner isn’t available to help you practice. ✅ Using the wooden dummy can provide insight into maintaining the proper distance from your target when striking and blocking. ✅ Remember when training with the wooden dummy, the intent is not to just touch the dummy in the right area but to visualize the attack at an actual person, striking and hitting accordingly. ✅ Some practitioners pad the wood at the striking points until their bone structure has maintained the proper conditioning level. This allows you to hurt your opponent with your blocking as a simultaneous strike. Safe level of drinking #shorts
I'm sometimes asked by people what would be considered a safe level of drinking. That can be very different, depending on the individual. Generally, a safe level for any individual is a level at which one's not inebriated. Because when people are inebriated they often do things that they wouldn't normally do that could be dangerous. Also, people have to be cautious because often one's subjective experience is different from the objective data. People are often stopped by the police when driving and have no subjective sense of being impaired. But when, in fact, they're breathalyzed they actually are impaired. So generally if you're going to think of it, if you think a safe level of drinking is three drinks, I would try to have two. If you think it's two drinks, have one. Again, it's individual. It depends on your body composition and how you metabolize alcohol.
